After oxygen road in Gangachra in Rangpur, medicine road has been made. Common people have expressed interest in planting trees due to this unique name. They expressed their gratitude to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Aceland. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nahid Tamanna and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nayan Kumar Sahar, keeping in mind the goal of “We want to live a healthy life in a safe environment, consume pollution-free oxygen and build a country with green forestry” and ‘The Prime Minister’s announcement that not even an inch of land should remain vacant’ In a joint plan, they took the initiative to plant fruit, forest and medicinal saplings in educational institutions along with roads. According to the plan, he decided to give this unique name by planting saplings on one road of all the unions of the upazila. So that people don’t needlessly destroy trees and learn about tree humming and take care of trees. By starting the implementation of such a great initiative, the road to Ghontari of Kolkond Union was planted on the curved road bordering Ward No. 7 and 8 by planting fruit, forest and medicinal plants. This road is named Oxygen Road. In continuation of this, on Saturday (October 14) medicinal saplings were planted on the curved road between Kachua Absan Kacharipara of Nohali Union going to the Union Parishad. Its road is named Medicine Road.People of all ages, including local representatives, planted one tree each. When they asked the reason for the different name, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nayan Kumar Saha explained them nicely. The local people were delighted and promised to take care of the trees and plant them themselves. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nayan Kumar Saha, Nohali UP Chairman Ashraf Ali, Union Awami League General Secretary Majmul Haque Suruj, UP 3rd and 4th Ward Members, Hunger Project Union Coordinator Chandra Shekhar and people of different ages participated in tree planting. The UP Chairman said that people can easily understand the importance of trees with a unique name. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nayan Kumar Saha said, we save the environment by planting trees, there is no safe oxygen, there is no benefit of medicinal plants, we want to live a healthy life. This initiative is to make people aware of all these issues and to implement the Prime Minister’s announcement that not an inch of land is left empty. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nahid Tamanna said that people should understand the benefits of trees before cutting them. Then he will plant one before cutting down the tree. Besides, the government is working on various measures to improve the quality of life of the people. This is one of them. If this initiative is implemented, a person will be able to live a healthy life as well as benefit financially.
