Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various socio-economic development activities including various infrastructure construction and extension projects across the country through video conferencing from Ganabhaban. On this occasion, Gangachara Upazila Parishad Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Alhaj Ruhul Amin was present as the chief guest through video conferencing organized by upazila administration in the conference room of the Gangachara Upazila Parishad administrative building on Tuesday (October 14). Under the chairmanship of Tamanna, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nayan Kumar Saha, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Azizul Islam, Bir Muktijoddha Md. Obaidullah, Upazila Agriculture Officer Marufa Iftekhar Siddika, Upazila Engineer Majul Islam, Project Implementation Officer Sajibul Karim, Social Service Officer Mosaddekur Rahman, cooperative officer Abtabuzzaman Chayan and other officials of various departments of the upazila, political leaders, teachers, religious leaders and civil society leaders were present.
